Shadow Team Coaching (STC) is a task for facilitating working group growth while combining the methodology of re-engineering
(review of work procedures) and team coaching.
Participants are asked to complete a specific taskwhich must be carried out within a set period of time
(i.e. develop operational communication among departments, define management models for critiques, etc.)
During execution of the project each participant is joined in the field (on the job) by a facilitator.
The facilitator, who helps keep the focus on the project and on the relationships with the other members of the group,
will also provide feedback on individual management methods practiced daily.
In business facilitation, "Shadow Team Coaching" operational improvements (re-enginering) are not externally introduced but are designed to emerge from
the proposals of the participants and are supported with targeted interventions throughout the daily work.
